He works daily to empower the men to learn recovery skills needed to maintain a life of recovery. Often, residents cannot be placed directly into sober living situations and they end up living on the street or in shelters, creating enormous pressure on their fragile sobriety. Occasionally, someone placed into a sober house relapses and they must leave the sober house immediately – Redemption House is the place where they can go until they recommit to their sobriety. “We can get them here, get them in a safe place, get them in an environment of recovery with peer support, that’s when change can really happen,” he said. Our program of recovery also values peer support, which has brought great success in changing many lives.

Our Mission
To assist those who are recovering from substance abuse disorder and addictive behavior by helping them overcome obstacles that would hinder them from becoming productive members of society. The Recovery Mansion was opened December 2017 and is home to 21 men including two house managers. On a direct bus route where buses downtown come every 15 minutes, the mansion features 6 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a meeting room, a game room and a backyard that hosts numerous sober functions. Redemption House Foundation and Maverick House Review work together to develop long-term recovery plan. We want to expand Redemption House Foundation to accept everyone who needs help.

Redemption House Foundation also has a live-in manager. Wellness means improving your quality of life from the inside out. Most NEW BEGINNINGS centers host faith-based services or religious/spirituality groups, and we’ll do everything we can to be sensitive to your religious needs. And if your addiction has left its mark on your career, many of our treatment centers offer services like resume building, job preparedness workshops, and help with job hunting as you get back on your feet.

I moved into a sober house that had a culture of recovery and lived there for 18 months. Afterwards I went back to school to become a drug and alcohol counselor. Shortly after graduation, the first recovery house was opened.
Clients are provided tools to maintain financial responsibility in society by allowing them to work, pay their own way, as well as learning to set and maintain a budget. New Beginnings Recovery Homes for Men is a Christian based facility that also incorporates the principles of 12-step recovery programs such as NA/AA and Celebrate Recovery. Structured support in a safe and inclusive environment.
I bought a large quantity of drugs and the plan was to kill myself. “If you come & follow our program, your life will be totally changed. When you graduate from our program, you’ll be ready to live a healthier, happier life without substance abuse. Our goal is to treat the whole person, and that means addressing co-occurring mental illness, physical wellness, social issues and more. Richard’s House was the first house we opened when starting “A New Beginning.” Since its opening in November of 2014, we have successfully helped many clients to rebuild their lives.
Today I am a father of two amazing boys, Ricky and Carson, whom I want to set a great example for. I decided to dedicate my life to helping men rebuild Maverick House Review Review their lives.
